Every Christmas Eve the boys get new pajama's and an ornament.
Here is Kirk's Owls of Ga'Hoole ornament (he's read many books of the series and seen the movie)

Christmas Eve

After our trip to the cemetary Ryan, Brenda and the kids joined us for a Christmas Eve celebration.
I thought the kids would be enteratained with new toys.
Here's Mason.

Meghan

Landon

But they very much enjoyed the "Monster" game

or being buried with pillows just to break out.

Landon is enjoying exploring around the floor.

Christmas Eve Tradition

It has been a Christmas Eve Tradition to go to the cemetary at dark.
We dig out the gravesite. Place a wreath. Light an ice candle. And listen to the song, "Oh Holy Night".
This year was no exception. Ryan, Brenda and the kids joined us.

Christmas Eve Day

Christmas Eve Day we spend with Vern and Marlene and the rest of the family.
Marlene made a traditional Lutefisk dinner, with a side of turkey. After dinner it was present opening time.
Here is Vern and Marlene opening gifts.

Duane with his ball hitch. Look how excited he is! LOL!

Trica with a sweater

Everyone reviewing the gifts

The kids relaxing

then playing Raven's new game "Sorry Sliders"

Gingerbread People

So Much To Do So Little Time

Trica did not get everything she would like to have had done in time for Christmas.
She went off the deep end when Kirk decided it was time to make and decorate Gingerbread People.
"Today! Not tomorrow, Today!"
Thank God she found a kit with premade gingerbread people. All the boys had to do was decorate. Everyone was happy.
