On June 25th Duane and Trica celebrated their 22nd wedding anniversary. We spent a lovely weekend camping with the boys.

Fathers Day 2010

We celebrated Dad's day a day early with Vernon. Here is Lisa, Duane and Vern.

After working a night shift Duane came home to breakfast and a round of golf. Our first of the year! The course was quiet and the weather beautiful! Too bad our games weren't.

Colton's 14th Birthday

Colton celebrated his 14th Birthday with a pool party, airsoft game, chocolate fountain, gifts, taco-in-a-bag, ice cream cake, video games and 10 boys overnight. We did not get much sleep that night.

Colton celebrates his 14 birthday today. Unfortunately he spent his day in school. This evening we ate at the Panda Buffet and had a small celebration at home. Tomorrow he will spend his day at Valleyfair.

Memorial Day Weekend

We spent Memorial Day weekend camping and fishing in Cass Lake. Duane and I have many sweet memories of this campground and fishing the lake. We were excited to share it with our boys. They did a great job. We have many new memories to add to our memoir.

Garden

Last year we enjoyed the fresh herbs from Jennie's garden so much that we were inspired to try it ourselves. Here is a looksie at our small container of herbs. Mint, basil, cilantro, thyme, dill, oregano, flat leaf parsley.

We are also going to try a salsa garden. Here is what we picked up today. 5 Tomato plants, 5 Pepper plants, Onions plus Lettuce, Beans, Radishes, and Cucumbers.
Kirk and I worked hard and got them all planted. Wish us luck!

Here is the Garlic we planted last fall and some chives the boys found in the yard.
