Memorial Day Weekend

We spent Memorial Day weekend camping and fishing in Cass Lake. Duane and I have many sweet memories of this campground and fishing the lake. We were excited to share it with our boys. They did a great job. We have many new memories to add to our memoir.

Garden

Last year we enjoyed the fresh herbs from Jennie's garden so much that we were inspired to try it ourselves. Here is a looksie at our small container of herbs. Mint, basil, cilantro, thyme, dill, oregano, flat leaf parsley.

We are also going to try a salsa garden. Here is what we picked up today. 5 Tomato plants, 5 Pepper plants, Onions plus Lettuce, Beans, Radishes, and Cucumbers.
Kirk and I worked hard and got them all planted. Wish us luck!

Here is the Garlic we planted last fall and some chives the boys found in the yard.

Pool Opening

Time to open the pool for summer. It is a big job for Duane but we enjoy it so much during the summer. Thanks Duane!

This year we removed most of the rock, shrubs and weeds from around the pool and layed sod. Hopefully a good solution to the sharp rock near the pool and under our feet.

Treehouse

Duane finally competed the treehouse. Plenty of storage room and a much sturdier playroom for the kids.

Mother's Day 2010

Trica celebrated a wonderful mother's day this year. Breakfast in bed, massage, hot tub, gifts, great lunch and an afternoon nap. Best of all- a day with my boys.
