Transformers

In the middle of our camping weekend we were invited to a private showing of the TRANSFORMERS movie. We couldn't resist. Free show and snacks. Here we are. Love the look on Colton's face!

Camping Weekend

We camped this weekend in Moose Lake. Even though we had grey skies and cool breezy weather we still had a good time. The boys played in the park, we played bocce ball, basketball, and baseball. The boys had scavenger hunts, too.

The boys built sand castles.

And swam in the freezing cold lake.

All the way out to the raft.

There was bike riding.

Casear was excited to see all the other dogs in the park...it was exhausting.

Grandma Nette joined us for a round of bocce ball and lunch.

At night we gathered around the campfire and roasted smores.

Kirk Plays Baseball

Kirk plays baseball every Monday and Wednesday with a practice thrown in now and then.

Kirk rounds second base.

David departs for Hungary

Very early this morning we brought David to the Airport to catch the first flight of his very long trip home.

David and the boys final picture together.

David says he is not nervous. He doesn't look happy either, maybe he is just tired. He did get up at 3:45am this morning.

David has just passed through security.
He gives us a thumbs up and boards the plane.

Talk to you later David. It was great getting to know you.

Father's Day

It's Father's Day. The boys bought Duane gifts.

We took Duane out for Father's Day breakfast.
It so happens to be David's final breakfast with us also.

We treated Duane to a round of golf at Grandview, we also rented golf carts.
I think the kids like the golf cart better than the golfing.

Colton tee's off at the 3rd hole.

Duane at the 9th hole, his favorite.

David gave a whack at it too.

David loved driving the golf cart.
